GAFFNEY, S.C.—The Limestone College field hockey team will host its first Rock On Triathlon on Saturday, October 23. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the ALS Association which leads the fight to cure and treat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and empower people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.

Harrow Sports donated 20 sticks to the Limestone College field hockey program to help promote the sport of field hockey in South Carolina. The Saints' field hockey coaches and team members visited the Boys and Girls Club last week to educate the children about the sport.

Lindsay Hinton (Aurora, Colo.), Jessica Law (Pfafftown, N.C.), Kayla Marrie (Frederick, Md.), Kayla Schlosser (Telford, Pa.), Dana Wolff (Waynesboro, Pa.), and Brittany Zimmerman (Willow Street, Pa.) will take to the field for the Saints next fall.

GAFFNEY, S.C.—The Limestone College field hockey and women’s soccer teams participated in the ninth annual A Taste of Cherokee event, which was hosted by the Cherokee County Service Center, Piedmont Chapter, the American Red Cross, and Interim HealthCare. Limestone’s booth featured a South Carolina beach theme, complete with beach music and dancing.

GAFFNEY, S.C.—The Limestone College women’s and men’s soccer team both earned the #4 seed and home field advantage in the opening round of the Conference Carolinas tournaments this week. The Saint men host Belmont Abbey on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Saints Field, while the Lady Saints host Mount Olive on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
