SALISBURY, N.C.—The Limestone College men’s swim team recorded its third consecutive dual meet victory with a 144-87 win over Catawba on Saturday.

GAFFNEY, S.C.— The Limestone College swim teams both recorded victories against the Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday night. The Limestone women won 116-78 while the Saints edged their opponent 103-102.

The Limestone College men’s and women’s swimming teams are in Florida for their annual winter training trip. The Saints are braving the frigid weather as a cold snap has resulted in unusually low temperatures for the Sunshine State. Limestone’s training sessions are being held at the Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center.

COCOA BEACH, Fla.—Limestone College beat Baldwin-Wallace College 82.5-46.5 on Friday evening at the Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center. Limestone’s swimmers took first in all but one event at the meet.

The Limestone College men’s and women’s swimming meets against Saint Leo University scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled. The Saints and Lady Saints, who are currently in Florida on the spring training trip, have added exhibition meets to their schedules. The women will face Northern Michigan while the men compete against Saint Bonaventure tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. The exhibitions will be held at the Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center in Cocoa Beach, Fla.

GAFFNEY, S.C.—Limestone College Head Swimming Coach Robert Gecan has announced the Michael Sanders will join the Saints swimming program next season. Sanders is a native of Raleigh, N.C., and competes in the freestyle and individual medley events.

WINGATE, N.C.—The Limestone College men’s and women’s swimming teams both finished second at the Wingate University Fall Frenzy Invitational over the weekend. Wingate University won the event on the women’s and men’s side.

GAFFNEY, S.C.— The Limestone College men’s and women’s swimming teams were defeated by Wingate University on Saturday afternoon at the Timken Aquatic Center. The Lady Saints were edged by the Lady Bulldogs, 133-129. The Saints lost to the Wingate men 173-89.

Limestone College’s Gilles Gutnecht (Marsville, France) was named the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week as announced by the league on Wednesday. Gutnecht won three events in Limestone’s dual meet against Gardner-Webb last Friday.
