MEN'S SWIMMING FINISHES 2ND AT BOO BASH RELAYS

SALISBURY, N.C.—The Limestone College men’s swimming team finished second at the Boo Bash Relays on Saturday. The meet was hosted by Catawba College.
The Saints had standout performances from Zak Bagby (Angier, N.C.), Gene Magliaro (Greenville, S.C.), Gilles Gutnecht (Marsville, France), Deniz Bilgin (Istanbul, Turkey), Drew Boyd (Louisville, Ky.), and Benjamin Williams (Berea, Ohio).
The 300-yard breaststroke relay team took first (3.07.49) and the 500 freestyle team also won (4:18.28). The Saints were second in the 800 freestyle relay (7.17.70), the 400 medley relay (3:42.29), the 400 freestyle relay (3:16.62), and 1500 freestyle relay (14.49.34).
Williams finished second in the 400 individual medley with a time of 3:48.08.
The Saints host NCAA Division I’s Gardner-Webb University on November 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Timken Aquatic Center in Gaffney, S.C.
